How to use chains and load binder?

The load binder is a tool used to tighten the rope, chain or steel cable. It plays a role in fixing the goods during the transportation, movement, shipment or storage of the goods. After the goods are locked by the tight rigging, the goods are not easy to fall off . The load binder is widely used in ports, railways, construction and many other fields.

G70 American ratchet type load binder.

1. Before using the chain and load binder, it is necessary to clearly see the working load and scope of application on the sign. Overloading is strictly prohibited, and a visual inspection of the load binder is performed, and it can be used only after compliance.

2. Under normal use, the hoisting angle is the key to the load. The angle of the shaded part in the figure must not exceed 120 degrees at most, otherwise it will cause local overload of the chain rigging.

3. It is forbidden to use informal connectors to link between chains.

4. It is forbidden to directly hang the load-bearing chain sling on the components of the crane hook or wrap it around the hook.

5. When the chain sling wraps around the hanging objects, pads are added to the edges and corners to prevent the round link chain and the hanging objects from being damaged.

6. The temperature has a certain influence on the use of chain rigging. The rated load is between minus 40 degrees and 200 degrees, and 90% of the rated load is between 200 degrees and 300 degrees. 3, 300 degrees to 400 degrees It is 75% of the rated load when it is between degrees, and it is not allowed to use when it is above 400 degrees.

7. The lifting point of the hoisting hook is required to be on the same vertical line as the center of gravity of the hoisting weight, so that the hoisting weight is in a stable and balanced state to prevent sliding or overturning during lifting.

8. Twisting and knotting are prohibited between chains, and adjacent chain activities should be flexible.
